IVF and fertility treatment in J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru

What treatment involves, what the first consultation covers, and how to reach the centre — for couples across Bengaluru and Karnataka.

Where the centre is

Consultations are at Indira IVF, Woody's Building, 3rd Floor, Plot No. 45/1-1, near Bangalore Central Mall, J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru 560078. The centre draws couples from across South Bengaluru — Jayanagar, Banashankari, BTM Layout, Bannerghatta Road, Konanakunte and Electronic City — and referrals from elsewhere in Karnataka.

Treatments offered

  • IUI — intrauterine insemination, where tubes are open and sperm parameters are adequate.
  • IVF — in vitro fertilisation, with stimulation planned to the individual rather than to a house protocol.
  • ICSI — injection of a single sperm, used for male factor and after fertilisation failure.
  • Frozen embryo transfer, including natural and hormone-replacement cycles.
  • Surgical sperm retrieval — PESA and TESA — for azoospermia.
  • Hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery for septa, adhesions, polyps, fibroids and endometriosis.
  • Fertility preservation, and care of pregnancy after assisted conception.

What the first consultation covers

The first appointment is diagnostic rather than prescriptive. It covers your history, how long you have been trying, previous treatment and why it was chosen, and a review of every report you already have. It should end with you understanding what is being investigated and why — not with a package.

Bring previous cycle summaries and discharge notes, semen analyses, hormone profiles including AMH, thyroid and prolactin, HSG or ultrasound reports, hysteroscopy or laparoscopy notes, and details of medication used in earlier cycles. A consultation with the old records in the room is far more useful than one starting from scratch.

Who is usually referred here

Routine IVF, ICSI and IUI are part of the practice, but a large share of referrals concern couples for whom something has already gone wrong more than once — repeated implantation failure, recurrent miscarriage, severe male factor, thin endometrium, or a cycle abandoned elsewhere without explanation.
